Explanation : Forgotten Creek runs down a ravine in the Port Garnder Neighborhood in Everett, WA. It was saved by being overrun by creeping ivy by a concerned citizen group, volunteers from the neighborhood and grants from the City of Everett. In 2005 it received a $15,000 grant from Starbucks Coffee, Inc to begin builing an elevated walkway over the wetlands. This is the story of how it was done.
